Reducing Fire Risks Around the Home
Firewise recommends creating a "Home Ignition Zone" by clearing all vegetation at least 3 feet away from the home on all sides. Create fuel breaks using non-flammable materials. Firewise suggests that deciduous trees and native plants are the best choice
